We are increasingly confronted with hard facts about the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in places where it does not belong. While traveling, the problem was confirmed with live images. Walking on a beach full of plastic is not what we want, is it? A healthy entrepreneurial spirit combined with the facts and experiences of beaches full of plastic led to the start of the VANN brand.

VANN’s vision stands for working today for a better tomorrow. With these thoughts we work with heart and soul to reduce single-use plastic.

Conversations with the locals of Costa Rica have inspired them to start a sustainable drinking bottle brand. Costa Rica is seen by many as the most sustainable country in the world, so the local population lives with respect for nature and animals. A nice example of this can be found here, this is a whale made of plastic bottles. The whale was created by the locals to raise awareness. We at VANN think they succeeded, we are grateful to them for the bit of extra inspiration that we have received.
