Soypa is a micro company based in the Netherlands that creates high-quality skincare and cleaning products, including beautifully designed plant-based soaps, all with a focus on promoting sustainable living.

We have created a range of products that harness the power of natural ingredients such as essential and plant oils, botanicals, sea salt and clays.

Besides the eye-catching soap design, the main emphasis is on using plant-based, organic ingredients and promoting a sustainable lifestyle 🌱.

The first collection is inspired by Iceland, where the whole soap-making story started. It contains six soaps reflecting some of the Icelandic locations or features in the design and scents. Moreover, all soaps contain salt harvested from the furthest part of Iceland – the Westfjords.

The name Soypa was created accidentally, as my sister wrongly memorized that it means soap in Icelandic (Sápa), not knowing that she became Soypa’s godmother.

The mission of the company is to encourage people to shift towards low waste and plastic-free lifestyle. Furthermore, each package has a related environmental message with the aim to raise awareness among the customers.

Soypa’s vision is to be a role model for our customers in the transition towards sustainable living.

INGREDIENTS

Soypa soaps include the plant-based ingredients, the design, and the story behind each product. The formula is based on:

• 7 plant oils (coconut, olive, sweet almond, apricot, sunflower, castor oil, shea butter)
• Icelandic sea salt from Westfjords
• Mineral and plant-based pigments (kaolin and Moroccan clays, natural indigo powder, ethically sourced mica)
• A mix of 3 different essential oils in each soap
• Handmade soaps organic ingredients plant-based made in the Netherlands
