The Iron Roots performance (PF) line is meant for any workout that you engage yourself in. From relaxing yoga to intense CrossFit, our plant-based performance line will enhance your experience, with its antibacterial and breathable properties.

When the weather gets warmer and workouts outside become the norm, it’s time for lighter sportswear. That is why we’ve created our own minimalistic approach to the classic tanktop.

Our PF14.Wood tanktop is made from a lightweight, breathable wood-based fabric that has a soft feel on the skin. Besides being antistatic and antibacterial, this fabric also keeps your body cooler, which makes it very comfortable during your workouts in warm weather.

While the overall fit falls between athletic and regular, we’ve made sure that the fabric connects well to your upper body, for optimal movability, while still looking good. We’ve finished off the design with a small logo on the chest, our box logo on the upper back, and the ‘wood’ logo on the bottom, referencing the source material of the fabric.

How product is made

This product is designed in our headquarters in The Netherlands. We produce our sportswear locally (within Europe), to ensure sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical production. This product is produced at our factory in Greece. Our factory has GOTS and SMETA certifications, and we visit them on a regular basis. Besides that, we work with them to source our raw materials, yarns, and fabrics from European countries, which is something we are very dedicated to at Iron Roots.TENCEL™ Lyocell This material is sourced from European FSC certified forests, where trees are grown and regrown when they are used to create products. They are then further processed by Lenzing in Austria, which has won multiple awards for their sustainability efforts and who are widely regarded as some of the most sustainable and innovative manufacturers in the clothing industry.

Size Chart

This tanktop falls between an athletic and regular fit. If you usually have size M with your tanktops, you should also pick size M with this one. If you prefer a looser fit, pick one size bigger.Our model is 190 cm / 6'3" and is wearing size M.You can find our size chart on the top of this page. If you are still unsure which size to go for, feel free to contact us.

Product Care

This tanktop is made from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell, which has been processed into a completely custom interlock fabric. This fabric and design combination is called PF14.Wood.All of our products are made with materials from natural origin, which don’t need as harsh cleaning treatments as other, synthetic sportswear. We suggest the following care instructions for all of our products, to ensure that they will keep their performance and last longer.▪ Wash at 30 degrees. ▪ Don’t tumble dry. ▪ Don’t use bleach. ▪ Iron with medium heat. ▪ Wash with the same colors. ▪ Fabrics from natural origin can shrink a little bit after washing them, which we have taken into account with our sizing.

"PLASTIC FREE We make activewear from fabrics that don't contain plastics. We also save CO₂ emissions. Some of our sportswear saves even more than 60% CO₂ during production compared to polyester clothing. FAIR PRODUCTION We can make sure that the people who work there are treated well. HIGH PERFORMANCE Our natural fabrics each have unique properties such as being antibacterial and antistatic, which makes them great for different workouts. "
