These Compostable Coffee Capsules are made from 100% plant-based bioplastics (which is made from vegetables and mineral raw materials) from French renewable resources. The normal coffee pods are made from plastic capsules, made from petroleum, and an aluminum cover which is not recyclable nor compostable. The box contains 100 empty fill-it-yourself coffee capsules that you can fill with your favourite organic coffee so you are not limited to only the coffee pods on the market. Many coffee pods do not have organic coffee options so this will allow you the full choice of which coffee you want in your pod. This will allow you to choose both coffee quality and respect for the environment in one pod. The pods are compatible with Nespresso® machines that were made after 2010. There are 3 colours of coffee pods in the box which allows you to easily identify different coffees so you can fill more than 1 coffee in your pods at a time. The bioplastic pods come with kraft lids which are also compostable so you can put the whole pod in the compost when you are done with it and it will decompose over 2 months.
How product is made
INGREDIENTS
The coffee capsules are made from 100% bioplastics (which is made from vegetables and mineral raw materials) and the lids are kraft.
Made from vegetable and mineral raw materials, which differentiates them from “classic” plastic capsules (and aluminum lid) made from petroleum and non-recyclable, non-compostable.
How to use
Choose your favourite coffee and grind it up. Choose one of the three colours of capsules and fill the capsule with the ground-up coffee and pack it down. Place and stick the kraft lid on the capsule then put it in your coffee machine and follow machine instructions. Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee that does not compromise the environment! Once you are done with the capsule, you can put it straight into the compost to decompose with the rest of your green waste. So easy and simple!
