How product is made
INGREDIENTS
The handle is made from sustainable bamboo and the bristles are made from BPA-free Nylon 6 plastic (the only biodegradable alternative is boar hair so to keep it vegan, this is the only option).
How to use
Use as you would a normal toothbrush. The bamboo was processed so that the grain is closed to bacteria so the wood will not become water damaged or become germy. Ensure to rinse the toothbrush thoroughly with water after each and store the toothbrush in a toothbrush holder so that it will dry properly. Dentists and dental hygienists recommend replacing your toothbrush every three months.
The packaging is made from recycled cardboard so ensure to recycle it. To dispose of your toothbrush after 3 months, you would want to do this as sustainably as possible. To do so, you would remove the plastic bristles from the bamboo handle with pliers and dispose of them with the plastic waste. The bamboo handle is completely biodegradable and can be disposed of with green waste.
