Konjac sponges are great natural facial and skin cleansers with various benefits for all skin types. Made from the root of the konnyaku plant, which has a natural moisturizing effect and has been used for centuries in the Far East. Its alkaline properties make it surprisingly effective against impurities and excess sebum in the skin.
For acne-prone and problematic skin, we recommend the Elicious Konjac Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal. Bamboo charcoal is highly porous and not only absorbs excess oil from the skin, it also helps to remove acne-causing bacteria. Activated charcoal is known for its deeply absorbing and detoxifying properties and has been used in health and medicine for hundreds of years. The semi-circular shape is ideal for cleaning your face.
The natural sponge must be protected and is therefore contained in a special POF film that is 100% recyclable. Then packed in a box of recycled paper.

Hoe te gebruiken
A Konjac sponge is soft enough for everyday use. If you like that, you can use it in combination with your favorite cleanser, but you absolutely don’t have to. Before use, soak the sponge thoroughly in warm water to expand the fibers, squeeze gently until softened and absorbed water. They should only be used wet, as dry konjacs are too hard and damage the skin. Use the sponge to cleanse the skin, working in circular motions all over the skin. Rinse thoroughly after use, gently squeeze out excess water and allow to dry. The sponge lasts about 2 months (with daily use) before it starts to break down naturally. With the handy cord you can hang the sponge. Throw the Konjac sponge into the compost and replace it with a new one.
