The Iron Roots performance (PF) line is meant for any workout that you engage yourself in. From relaxing yoga to intense CrossFit, our plant-based performance line will enhance your experience, with its antibacterial and breathable properties.

Running in the sun, tough CrossFit workouts, or calming yoga, these shorts will be there to enhance your experience. Made from an unique wood-based mix fabric. They are breathable, antibacterial, and ready to take on any challenge that you throw at them.

We have also fitted these shorts with handy zippers, in which you can store small items during your workout. This way you´ll never lose them again.

The pine green color is inspired by the look of a pine tree in the early morning.

Hoe het product wordt gemaakt

This product is designed in our headquarters in The Netherlands. We produce our sportswear locally (within Europe), to ensure sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical production. This product is produced at our factory in Greece. Our factory has GOTS and SMETA certifications, and we visit them on a regular basis. Besides that, we work with them to source our raw materials, yarns, and fabrics from European countries, which is something we are very dedicated to at Iron Roots.TENCEL™ Lyocell / Modal This material is sourced from European FSC certified forests, where trees are grown and regrown when they are used to create products. They are then further processed by Lenzing in Austria, which has won multiple awards for their sustainability efforts and who are widely regarded as some of the most sustainable and innovative manufacturers in the clothing industry.

Size Chart

These shorts have a regular fit and move well with your body. If you usually have size M, you should also pick size M with this one. If you prefer them tighter or larger, move one size down or up.Our model is 189 cm / 6'2" and is wearing size M.You can find our size chart on the top of this page. If you are still unsure which size to go for, feel free to contact us.

Product Care

These shorts are made from 54% TENCEL™ Lyocell and 46% TENCEL™ Modal, which has been processed into a custom woven fabric. This fabric and design combination is called PF41.Wood.All of our products are made with materials from natural origin, which don’t need as harsh cleaning treatments as other, synthetic sportswear. We suggest the following care instructions for all of our products, to ensure that they will keep their performance and last longer.▪ Wash at 30 degrees. ▪ Don’t tumble dry. ▪ Don’t use bleach. ▪ Iron with medium heat. ▪ Wash with the same colors. ▪ Fabrics from natural origin can shrink a little bit after washing them, which we have taken into account with our sizing.

Some of our sportswear saves even more than 60% CO₂ during production compared to polyester clothing. FAIR PRODUCTION We can make sure that the people who work there are treated well.
